Louise’s Qualifications
Professional Approach
Independent, Child Focused and Respectful
Louise’s role in family law matters is to provide an independent and balanced professional opinion. Her assessments consider the individual child, the child’s developmental stage, important family relationships, relevant risks and strengths, and the wider circumstances in which the family is living. Louise applies her experience and high quality qualifications and continuing professional development to perform her role to a high standard.
The assessment process can feel unfamiliar or demanding. Louise aims to explain the process clearly and to treat adults and children with dignity and respect, while maintaining the professional independence required of her role.
Her reports are written to be clear, carefully reasoned and practical. They aim to assist the reader in understanding the family’s circumstances, the issues affecting the child, and the considerations relevant to future decision-making.
